The Proclear Multifocal Toric XR are soft monthly lenses from Coopervision. They consist of Omafilcon A with a water content of 59% and are suitable for the simultaneous correction of astigmatism (corneal curvature) and presbyopia (ageing vision). While astigmatism can occur at any age, presbyopia is caused by a decrease in the flexibility of the eye lens. It is usually noticeable from the age of 40 to 50 years. People affected by both forms of ametropia not only see blurred at a distance, but also near objects appear blurred or distorted.
