Cleadew GP is a modern and easy-to-use disinfecting solution for rigid contact lenses. With Cleadew GP, cleaning your lenses by hand is a thing of the past. The special ingredients contained in the solution ensure above-average optimal cleaning and disinfection of your contact lenses. After cleaning, the contact lenses are rinsed with a saline solution. Povidone iodine is known for its intensive level of disinfection, even when it comes to stubborn germs. Proteolytic enzymes reliably remove protein deposits, while additional surfactants eliminate fatty deposits. With its preservative-free formulation, Cleadew GP is especially suitable for sensitive eyes.

Optimal cleaning for rigid contact lenses, without rubbing

With Cleadew GP, contact lenses are cleaned of deposits such as proteins thanks to the enzymes contained in the tablet. The tablet and the liquid are added to the contact lenses in the container. The liquid is coloured orange by the povidone iodine. After four hours, the process is complete and the liquid turns clear. It is such a thorough yet gentle cleaning that manual rubbing of the contact lenses is not necessary. Povidone iodine provides a particularly intensive level of disinfection, even with germs that are otherwise difficult to kill, such as fungi and acanthamoeba. This means that Cleadew GP provides you with clean contact lenses, a high degree of safety in germ elimination, and a solution that is quick and easy to use.

Preservative-free disinfecting solutions protect your eyes

We are able to forego the use of additional preservatives as the povidone iodine itself preserves the liquid. Upon contact with the tablet, the liquid begins to break it down, the cleaning process begins, and after four hours, your contact lenses are clean and disinfected. The liquid will now be clear. Preservative-free contact lens disinfecting solutions are especially suitable for sensitive eyes and people with allergies. They are particularly gentle on the eyes.

Easy contact lens hygiene for rigid contact lenses in just two steps

Cleadew GP is particularly quick and easy to use on rigid contact lenses

Step 1 

Place the contact lenses in the clamps and screw in one side. Add the tablet and fill the container with liquid. Screw down the other side and wait at least four hours until the colour of the liquid has changed from orange to clear.

Step 2

Open the container and empty out the liquid. Fill the container with saline solution, screw it together and shake it to rinse the contact lenses. Then empty the container and repeat the process. Once you're done, open the container and leave it to dry.
