Contaview Aspheric UV
Contopharma's Contaview Aspheric UV is a soft monthly lens with an aspherical front surface and a water content of 55%. They consist of hydrogel and are particularly well tolerated spontaneously. The low foreign body sensation makes it easier to get used to the wearer's body and increases wearing comfort over longer periods of time.
Special lens design
The lens design has been improved and in particular the lenticular zone has been optimized during the development of the Contaview Aspheric UV. The lenses are therefore dimensionally stable and have a high inherent stability. This new geometry also reduces the likelihood of contamination or damage to contact lenses during handling. In addition, the special design improves the undercutting during eyelid flapping, which results in high biological compatibility.
Clear vision in all lighting conditions
The front surface of the contact lenses is aspherically designed. This reduces an image defect known as "spherical aberration", which occurs in spherical lenses and can cause blurred images with reduced contrast, especially under unfavourable lighting conditions. The Contaview Aspheric UV reduces this effect and not only corrects the defective vision, but also ensures sharp and high-contrast vision even when the lighting is not optimal.
UV-blockers as additional protection
The lens material has an integrated UV-blocker, which helps to protect the eye from harmful radiation. However, contact lenses with UV filters are not fully protected and should not be used as a substitute for work glasses or sunglasses.
Easy maintenance and handling
The special design gives the lenses a stable shape and simplifies insertion and removal. The slightly bluish tint also improves handling and ensures that the cleaning solution can be found quickly. The Contaview Aspheric UV is designed for daily wear and will last for 30 days after the first use with appropriate care.
