Biomedics 55 Evolution are monthly soft contact lenses by Cooper Vision. The unique edge design and improved optical properties of the monthly contact lenses Biomedics 55 provide for enhanced comfort and improved vision. The newly developed Aberration Neutralising System (ANS) eliminates the spherical aberration of lens and eye, and thus increases the visual performance. The evolution of the edge design of the Biomedics 55 delivers a reproducible thin edge design for maximum comfort throughout the day.

The integrated UV filter protects against harmful Biomedics 55 UV radiation. UV-absorbing contact lenses help to reduce the harmful rays of UV light in the cornea and the eye. Biomedics 55 are not substitutes for UV-protective eyewear, such as work goggles or sunglasses because they do not completely cover the eye and its surroundings.
