Biolan Eye Drops from Santen is a good deed for dry eyes. They contain 0.15% hyaluronic acid and are particularly suitable for mild to moderate symptoms such as itching, burning or rubbing of the eyes. Since the drops are free from preservatives, they are also suitable for sensitive eyes. The drops can be used for moisturising when wearing hard or soft contact lenses.
Care for stressed eyes
Dry eyes cause a variety of symptoms. Among them are burning, redness and the sensation of having a foreign body in your eye. The causes are just as varied. Hours of reading on a screen, air-conditioned room air, medication or the natural process of aging can cause damage to a healthy tear film. Biolan Eye Drops spread over the irritated surface of the eye and ensure a stable and protective film. The improved tear film provides relief for the discomfort and prevents renewed irritation. The eye drops can also assist in the regeneration of the damaged corneal epithelium and make wearing contact lenses more comfortable.
Hyaluronic acid for natural moisturisation
Hyaluronic acid is an endogenous substance that forms a natural part of healthy tear film. It is produced in the cells of the conjunctiva. If the formation of tear film is impaired, the eye needs help. Hyaluron is particularly suitable for supplementing the tear film because it has a high water-binding capacity. It also adheres to the surface of the eye and in this way ensures long-lasting and sustained moisturisation — optimal care for dry and stressed eyes.
