The fusion 1 day contact lens with a water content of 60% was specifically developed for people with sensitive eyes. Not only does it use innovative Fusion technology, it also offers a thin design, excellent comfort and improved imaging.
Conil's fusion 1 day contact lens is made from Filcon IV material using a special patented process known as Fusion technology. For this purpose, tamarind seed polysaccharide (TSP) and the natural tear substitute hyaluron are cross-linked in the lens material. Thus, the contact lens always provides a continuous tear film, avoiding mechanical friction between the lens and eyelid even after many hours of wear. Drying and fatigue of the eye is effectively prevented from the outset. In addition, thanks to the use of modern manufacturing technologies, the contact lens is very thin, with a centre thickness of only 0.05 millimetres at -3.00 dioptres. This guarantees excellent comfort.
For physical reasons, lenses have a so-called spherical aberration - also called aperture error. In this case, objects that are not in the area of maximum sharpness are displayed in different degrees of blur depending on their position. However, with Conil's fusion 1 day contact lens, this acuity error is corrected as part of the manufacturing process. This significantly improves the imaging properties of the daily contact lens and thus the user's visual experience.
